Cancellation is hassle-free. If your online order hasn't shipped yet, simply get in touch with us via email or phone, and we'll promptly refund you, including any delivery fees. If your order has already been shipped, we'll take care of the process to bring it back to us, and upon its return, we'll process your refund, with the exception of delivery fees.

If you receive faulty or deficient items, we're committed to repairing, replacing, or refunding as required by the Act. Likewise, the Fair Trading Act 1986 is in place to safeguard you against any unintentional or intentional misrepresentation in the sale of goods and services. Looking for an exchange? We're here to help. Whether it's a different size, color, or another product of equal value, we'll be happy to facilitate an exchange. Your proof of purchase will assist in this process, although we may make exceptions if we have a record of the sale.

Cancelling your order after your order has been shipped: We will contact our courier company to have this redirected back to us. This may take some time. Once we have received your cancelled order back to the shop, we will contact you about your refund. Any delivery fees paid will not be refunded from your order.
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by The Homestore. If goods sold are deficient or faulty, We the retailer has the obligation to repair, replace or refund. Refer to the Consumer Guarantees Act for more information.
Fair Trading Act 1986
The Fair-Trading Act is designed to protect the customer from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair-Trading Act 1986.
Exchanges
We can offer to exchange products for another one (i.e. a distinct size or colour etc) or another product of the same value. Proof of purchase is required to obtain an exchange, although we may waive this requirement if we believe we have sold the product.
Please note, as mentioned above, products returned or exchanged must be in a resalable condition with packaging intact and all labels etc returned with the item.
