Kenwood Food Processor - A great time saver
Having always been a good ol' fashioned wooden-spoon type cook, I was initially wondering whether I really "needed" a food processor. Months later with my Kenwood food processor the central ingredient in all of my baking endeavours, I am a total convert, and could not imagine my kitchen without it.
Having an inbuilt scale is fantastic for throwing everything in without all the individual weighing, to-ing and fro-ing. The blade gives everything a thorough mix and chop, meaning even distribution of all the ingredients, and giving an enviable rise to all my cakes.
Cookies and pastry are too easy with the dough blade. I was always a bit hit and miss with this before, but the lid to the bowl means you can pour in your liquid so gradually that you are guaranteed a perfect dough. It rolls easily. I will be doing all my mince pies with it this year.
Making juices is a hit with the family,making smoothies in the jug, grinding nuts, and anything else which needs a quick chop-chop....basically this machine is a multi-functioning essential for every cook's kitchen whether you're a Saturday cook, or an all-the-timer, and I wholly and highly recommend it.
