Styled in pink, red or black, the CSB-76 has an extremely efficient 200-watt motor, which speeds through liquid and semi-solid ingredients quickly and effortlessly.
The unit's mini blade is just 2 inches long and is protected by a stainless-steel shell, which is attached to a 4.25-inch metal shaft. The entire assembly can be inserted in whatever pot, pitcher, bowl or beaker you happen to be working with.
The Cuisinart Smart Stick Hand Blender CSB-76 excels in tight spaces and does an equally good job when immersed in a soup pot for pureeing cooked vegetables or when placed in a work bowl to mix pancake batter. The only limitation with this type of blender is hard or frozen ingredients, which should be avoided as they can damage the blade. The unit is operated by a single control button, which must be continually depressed or pulsed for the motor to operate. This is fine since most tasks are accomplished in seconds; however, you may find the pulse-like operation of starting and stopping the motor to be the most efficient method.
